Batavus innovations: Comfort

A Batavus bike is a comfortable bike. That’s because Batavus equips many of its bikes with suspension parts that absorb irregularities in the road surface for true riding comfort. It’s easy to get the right riding position with the adjustable seat post, Ergo Grip handles and Ergo Matic Plus handlebar stem. And, new this year: various weight-saving details such as a carbon front fork and/or rear fork and the Luceo headlight. These features keep these bikes light and make them nice and sporty.

NuVinci™ gear hub The NuVinci™ transmission system is a continuously variable planetary drive system that shifts gears by means of ball bearings instead of sprockets. Because this system is continuously variable, you can set exactly the right speed, even when stopped!
Ergo Grip II handles The Ergo Grip II handles let you adjust the perfect position for allowing your hands to rest comfortably on the handlebars.
Ergo Matic Plus handlebar stem With the Batavus Ergo Matic handlebar stem, it’s easy to adjust the handlebar position. Choose from two versions: standard or deluxe.
Lightweight bikes Extra-light bikes. Ultra-light recreational and holiday bikes. With high-quality aluminium frames equipped with carbon front and rear forks.
Suspended front fork Adjustable suspended front forks developed especially for Batavus feature a special design and are available in many colours to correspond with the total design of the bicycle.
Suspended seat post The suspended seat post absorbs the heaviest shocks to make cycling a pleasure. You’ll really feel the difference, especially when cycling over long stretches of bumpy surfaces.
