Make it hard for thieves with a unique lock integrated into the frame. Batavus provides kids’ bikes with ‘grown-up’ features: coaster brakes combined with hand brakes, a safe chain guard, rounded shapes, good lighting and a lock. Lots of ingenious headlights like the smart Logic Light, the handsome Batavus LED headlight integrated into the front fork, and the lightweight Luceo headlight. And most Batavus bikes are equipped with the new adjustable Batavus Safety Stand: its sturdy leg and wide base make it extremely stable.

Kids’ bikes with a handlebar-mounted generator shifter Why do things the hard way? With a Batavus bike that has a generator shifter on the handlebars, all it takes is a simple twist of the left handle to snap the generator into place against the tyre.

Safety stand The Batavus Safety Stand is a safe stand that can be manually adjusted in length. Simply clicked forward by the pedals as you ride the bike backwards, and than gets back into its original position.
Batavus Logic Light This unique halogen headlight is integrated into the handlebar stem, thus making it practically indestructible - even with hard use or a fall. This makes the Logic Light extremely safe and reliable.
Anti-Theft Chip (ATC) Practically all Batavus bikes are equipped with an ‘Anti-Theft Chip’ (ATC). This chip is built into the bike and has a unique number that can be read by special equipment in the hands of the police.
